Carrying More Than You Should.

One of the core mechanics in Archrebel is taking care of your platoon's stamina. If you keep pressing forward without properly resting your units, you will exhaust their ability to attack and defend themselves. Resting is the absolute key to keeping them sharp and ready for combat. One quick way to tire your platoon is having them carry more than they should.

There are 3 levels of penalties for carrying too much. The first penalty kicks in when the inventory reaches 50% of its maximum capacity making stamina depletion twice as fast when moving. Then, a more severe penalty occurs at 80%, here, stamina depletes 3x times faster. An finally, stamina will deplete 4x times faster with the addition of 1 AP penalty for moving when the inventory is beyond its maximum capacity.

Carrying a human dead body will inevitably trigger the highest penalty possible, and there might be cases where a unit with low strength may not lift a dead body at all.

Moving units with no penalties will cost 1 stamina point per tile traveled. The penalty multipliers described above are based on this value.

Stay safe!
